Do You Know Enough about Managed Care? The future of your business may depend on it

Regulatory Environment  |  Senior Housing  |  Skilled Nursing

About one-third of Medicare beneficiaries are enrolled in managed care today, and nearly half of all seniors are expected to be enrolled within the next 10 years.

With that sobering statistic in mind, senior care operators need to understand the opportunities presented by the rapid expansion of managed care and the challenges that lie ahead.

Senior care organizations are already experimenting with managed care products, strategies and partnerships. But will these new approaches add value to operations and enhance the quality of care?

Get answers to these questions at the 2017 NIC Spring Investment Forum, March 22-24, Hilton San Diego Bayfront. The title of the session is “Managed Care: Opportunities & Challenges as a Senior Care Provider.”

The session will be moderated by Michael Torgan, a long-time health care management executive. He will be joined by managed plan executives, health care providers and operators, and a former CMS director.

The panel will discuss:

  • real-life case studies of successful operating company initiatives
  • innovative clinical practices that produce consumer value
  • how to find opportunities and overcome challenges in managed care
